COMMENTS
This compilation LP was produced by a Dutch company that was responsible for some bootlegs of various artists released in the mid- to late seventies, all with luxuriously presented covers to appeal to a larger audience, even though the content was usually of minor interest. All these records had the framed STEMRA copyright imprint on the label. The bootleggers used always different fantasy names, such as Altintas, Spacewards, Sypalettus and, for this Beatles release, Zakatecas.
The tracks included in this LP were lifted from a few previously released records.
RELEASES
The LP had a deluxe laminated jacket with a curious drawing on the front cover and a b/w drawing of the Beatles on the back, that includes also the subtitle BEATLEMANIA and the track listing. The labels were black, with the Zakatecas indication, the BEATLEMANIA subtitle, the STEMRA imprint in a frame and the track listing.
INTEREST. This LP can be interesting for collectors mainly because it represents one of the few Dutch releases of the seventies. Not particularly rare. **
