COMMENTS

This is a compilation of various tracks, all previously released. Most of these were taken from CBM records and  TMOQ's OUTAKES 1 and OUTAKES 2 and YELLOW MATTER CUSTARD. In a few cases, anyway, the source seems to be a tape of better quality, as for Murray the K: As it happened. We are in contact with the producer, who gave us some information: "The source for that album was all tape from a friend - who was the #1 Beatles archivist in America at the time. I put together the tape - did all the artwork. Years later I even did a CD version with the same cover. I am guessing that album was 74 or 75. - The back cover says PRODUCED AND ARRANGED BY CAROL & MONIKA - who are my two younger sisters. I do not recall how many copies were sold - but I suspect well north of 25,000 copies.".

RELEASES

The first version came with a deluxe printed cover featuring a nice autographed picture; the discs had white Wonderland labels. It was repressed with Berkeley disc labels.

INTEREST. This record, when released, could be useful for people who did not own a good bootleg collection, since it contains a large number of unreleased tracks. Nowadays, it's only for completists, even though it's quite a classic bootleg, and one of the first with a de-luxe cover. **
